Frank Duval
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful man, Francis (Frank) D. Duval on December 20, 2024 in Greenacres, WA. Though he is no longer with us, we rejoice knowing he is forever home with his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Frank was born January 2, 1936, in Great Falls, Montana, to Francis (Frank) H. Duval and Hope Estelle Duval. The second of two children, his sister, Deane Sexton, preceded him in death along with his parents.
Frank enlisted in the Coast Guard during the Korean War. He spent most of that time stationed at a lighthouse in Ketchikan, Alaska. Upon his discharge, Frank attended Gonzaga Prep. Afterwards, he was employed as a board marker at the Spokane Stock Exchange. Following that, Frank opened Duval Securities along with his Dad in the Peyton Building where they traded mining stocks until the mid- 1960s. After that endeavor concluded, Frank would spend the rest of his professional career in the mining industry.
Frank, always optimistic, was instrumental in the formation of numerous mining companies, taking them from project acquisition to production. His last mining venture, involving of a project located in Stibnite Idaho, is currently awaiting the Final Record of Decision, which grants the company permission to build the mine.
Besides working hard, Frank also played hard. He was an avid sportsman, having hunted polar bear off the Siberian coast, brown bear in Alaska, grizzly bear in Canada and big game in Africa. He took particular pleasure in fall elk hunting, setting up an extravagant camp for he and his friends. He would supply most of the food and the guys would enjoy lots of steak and bacon.
Along with hunting, Frank also enjoyed, horses and mules, hot rods, snowmobiling and camping with friends and family. Frank really liked dinning out, almost always ordering a big steak. Bring the bread he would say as soon as we sat down.
Frank was a generous person, even at the end, his concern was for his family. He will be greatly missed.
Frank is survived by his wife, Janice Duval, his children, Misty Jordan (Brian), Heather Ennis (Jesse) and Frank L. Duval, four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. At Frank's request, a private family funeral will be held to honor him.
Robert Tully
March 12, 1944 ~ August 5, 2024 (age 80)
Dukes member since 1964. 60 years.
Bob Tully left us unexpectantly on August 5, 2024, surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Spokane, Washington, the third child of Ray and Marian Tully. Bob spent many summers at Silver Lake with family friends. He graduated from Gonzaga Preparatory School where he made lifelong friends. Bob was very athletic, playing baseball football, and basketball at Prep. He and his Prep friends continued to meet on a regular basis and had great camaraderie. Bob joined the Great Northern Railroad in 1963, which later merged into the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He had a long career at the railroad where he earned the nickname “The Senator” due to his gift of gab. Bob read the newspaper every day. He told his children that you need to be able to talk to a variety of individuals you meet and knowing what is going on in the world will help. He would talk to anyone. Bob married Peggy Reedy in 1964 and had two children, Shawn and Shannon. Bob and Peggy divorced in 1984. He later married Pam Ennis in 1994, and they enjoyed 30 years together. He retired from the railroad in 2004. At an early age, Bob became interested in hot rods. He became a member of The Dukes Auto Club in 1964. He built many relationships with his Duke friends, scouting for cars, fixing cars, and going to rod runs. Cars became a lifelong hobby for him. Over the last few years, Bob drove his 1932 Ford Victoria to Victoria, British Columbia for Northwest Deuce Days. Bob loved living at Diamond Lake and being near the water. He enjoyed the small town feel of knowing one’s neighbors and small gatherings. He especially loved having his grandkids visit. Bob would drop everything to be with the kids, playing in the water and fishing with them. He was young at heart and it was best seen when he was with his grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Marian Tully, his sister Nadine Tully Boni, his brother Jim Tully, and his step daughter-in-law Kirsten Ennis. He is survived by his wife Pam Tully; his sister Rose Tully Brock (Chuck); his children, Shawn (Cindy) Tully, Shannon (John) Abernathy; stepsons, Gordon Ennis and Shawn (Angie) Ennis; grandchildren, Natalie Abernathy, Violet Abernathy, Kylee Ennis, Connor Ennis, Kaleb Ennis, Brayden Ennis, Cole Ennis, and Kiera Ennis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, 3520 E 18th Ave, Spokane, WA on September 5, 2024, at 11:00am with a reception immediately following. The family will celebrate with a private burial in Sprague Washington at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.

RIP Frank Moyer
Frank passed away Saturday night Feb. 13th. He joined the Dukes in the early 1960's and was one of our oldest, (years in the club), members. Frank will be dearly missed and always remembered. One of Frank's many hotrods is this 32 Ford Coupe. I'm told this was his first car and the car he joined the Dukes with.
