Boy Scouts Earn 2016 Automotive Merit Badge

Dukes members Jack Guinnane, Rich Kreps, Bill Degnan & Galen Pavliska helped the Boy Scouts earn their 2016 Automotive Maintenance Merit Badge. The guys spent two Saturdays teaching classes for 60 Scouts at the Inland Northwest Council STEM Merit Badge University held at Gonzaga U. This year the Boy Scouts' Inland Northwest Council issued a patch to commemorate the 2016 STEM Merit Badge University staff. Jack Guinnane and Rich Krep were honored to have their hot rods featured on the patch, Jack's 1932 Ford Pickup and Rich's Model A Roadster. The patch was given to all 250 Boy Scouts and staff members who attended the University. Congratulations Jack & Rich!

Jack, Rich, Bill, Galen & Stan Howard hosted the Scouts on a Saturday field trip to give the boys some automotive maintenance "hands on" experience. They spent the day at Jim Boorman's shop where the boys learned how to change a tire and do an oil change on a vehicle. They really enjoyed checking out all the neat hot rods and cool memorabilia at Jim's place.

Thank you Jack, Rich, Bill, Galen, Stan & Jim for going the extra mile to help the Scouts!
Great Job!
